Phu Quoc

Overview

Perfect if you’re looking to relax in a stunning natural setting!

Located at the southernmost tip of Vietnam, Phu Quoc is the country’s largest island. Acquired relatively recently by the Vietnamese people (likely in the mid-19th century), the island now belongs administratively to Kien Giang Province. Vietnam is not generally known for its beach resorts, yet Phu Quoc breaks this stereotype with its beautiful beaches and quality services.

So, what to do in Phu Quoc? First and foremost, relax and enjoy the beaches. We recommend Bai Truong beach on the southwest coast, Bai So and Bai Dam in the southeast, as well as the unspoiled coves of Bai Ong Lang in the north. Increasingly, scuba diving sessions are also organized on the island. With its warm, shallow waters, Phu Quoc allows you to discover tropical fish and colorful reefs year-round!

Phu Quoc also boasts a natural park, and we recommend taking a walk through the forest in the island’s north. There are also plenty of cultural and local experiences to enjoy: visiting a Cao Dai temple built in 2008, or exploring farms that produce pepper and pearls, among others.

Ending your trip with Phu Quoc is the perfect way to conclude a journey from north to south Vietnam. Don’t hesitate to include Phu Quoc in your tailor-made travel itinerary.
