Let us introduce to your our 21 days full tour of Vietnam, exploring the country from North to South.

This journey is designed for those who want to take their time and gain a complete overview of the landscapes and people living in Vietnam.

In the North, you will cruise in Lan Ha Bay on one of our junks before discovering the so called “Halong Bay on land” (Ninh Binh) and the Northern mountains. Our guide will take you to Mu Cang Chai, an area that is still relatively unexplored and offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in Northern Vietnam. You will then continue to Sapa and Bac Ha, home to the largest market of ethnic minorities in Northern Vietnam.

Next, you will head to Central Vietnam, where you will visit the cities of Hue and Hoi An. Our guides will introduce you to the rich culture of the Champa civilization in the surroundings of Hoi An.

Finally, the Mekong Delta will unfold before you, charming you with its local life along the banks of the longest river in Southeast Asia.”

Arrival and visit of Hanoi (L)
Arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport (please specify flight number and arrival time). You will be greeted by our driver and guide, and then transferred to the hotel. You can drop off your luggage at the hotel (rooms are available from 1:00 PM). Lunch will be provided at a city restaurant. The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. You will learn about the history of the Old Quarter, its guilds, and our guide will lead you through its narrow streets, offering surprises at every turn. It's a perfect way to immerse yourself in Hanoi's atmosphere from day one! Among other visits, you will explore the surroundings of Hoan Kiem Lake, visit the Ngoc Son Temple located on a small island in the lake, and explore Dong Xuan Market. The afternoon will conclude with a traditional water puppet show. Accompanied by our guide, you will learn about Vietnamese legends! Hanoi - historical discovery (B, L)
You will have breakfast at your hotel. Our guide and driver will pick you up to explore the rest of Hanoi. The morning will be dedicated to the history of Vietnam with a visit to the Temple of Literature (a symbol of Confucianism) and Tran Quoc Pagoda (Hanoi's oldest Buddhist Pagoda). After lunch at a city restaurant, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology, which contains a wealth of information about the 54 ethnic groups inhabiting Vietnam. In the early evening, we recommend attending the My Village show (optional), an impressive performance combining dance and circus acts! Children will love it! Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the Parfum d'Automne Guesthouse or a charming 3-star hotel.

Hanoi - Duong Lam - Nghia Lo (B, L, D)
It's the day of your departure to Northern Vietnam! After breakfast, the driver and your guide will pick you up at your hotel or the Parfum d'Automne Guesthouse. You'll hit the road and make your first stop in the village of Duong Lam (Mong Phu), a typical village representing the culture of the Red River Delta's inhabitants. It's the cradle of the Kinh (Viet) civilization and is famous for having several houses owned by the same family for over 300 years. You'll visit some of these houses and have lunch in one of them. You'll also visit the communal house and Mia Pagoda. In the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to the North, entering a landscape of increasingly higher hills covered with tea plantations. You'll pass through the Khé Pass and arrive in the Thai town of Muong Lo in the late afternoon. Muong Lo is located in the midst of a vast plain surrounded by towering mountains, and it's the largest one in the North after Dien Bien Phu. Dinner and overnight stay with a local host in Muong Lo.

Nghia Lo - Mu Cang Chai (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you'll hit the road to Mu Cang Chai, passing through the Hmong village of Nga Ba Kim. You'll drive through mountainous terrain with peaks towering over 2000 meters, overlooking terraced rice fields. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a hike and visit La Pan Tan Village, renowned for having the most beautiful terraced rice fields in the north. From there, you'll continue on to Cau Ba Nha Village (a 2-hour hike). You'll then rejoin the car to continue towards Mu Cang Chai. You'll discover stunning landscapes along the route, with the option to go for a walk, depending on the weather and your preferences (especially around Phing Ho Village). You'll arrive in Mu Cang Chai in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay with a local host or at Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge.

Mu Cang Chai - Sapa - Ta Phin (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart for Sapa. You will visit villages along the way, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. Lunch will be provided on the road. Upon arrival in Sapa, you will take a 3-4 hour walk through the villages of Ma Tra and Lu Khau, eventually reaching the village of Ta Phin (Red Dao). Dinner will be served, and there's the option to enjoy a soothing herbal bath after dinner (at your own expense). Overnight stay with a local host.

Ta Phin - Bac Ha (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred by car to the starting point of the hike. The trail is more challenging than the previous day, but it offers beautiful off-the-beaten-path landscapes that will rejuvenate you. You'll have a picnic lunch along the way. Afterward, you will head to Bac Ha, where you'll arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at a hotel in Bac Ha.

Bac Ha (ethnic market) - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, you will visit the ethnic minority market. On Saturday, you can visit the Can Cau market, and on Sunday, it will be the Bac Ha market. You will return to Hanoi by car (350km - 5 hours on the road), arriving in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Ninh Binh (B, L)
Departure at around 8:00 AM for the village of Dong Dinh, near the Kenh Ga Nature Reserve. Enjoy a bicycle ride through the villages, covering a distance of 5km to 15km (off the beaten path), according to your preference. This will be followed by a boat ride to explore the floating village of Dong Dinh and its inhabitants. Lunch will be at Mrs. Mien's. In the afternoon, you'll have the option of a traditional boat ride to the Van Long village or the Trang An site, depending on your choice. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at a hotel in Tam Coc.

Ninh Binh - Lan Ha bay (B, L, D)
The driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 7:00 AM, heading to Cat Ba Island. You will first take a ferry to reach the island. After the ferry, to get to the town of Cat Ba (located approximately 30 km away), where our junk boat is located, we offer a one-hour motorcycle ride with a driver, off the beaten path. If you prefer not to experience the motorcycle ride, it is possible to take a car.
  • Around 12:30 PM, you will board.  The junk boat first sails through the fishing village of Hang Vem in Lan Ha Bay. Sailing is possible depending on the wind. Enjoy this tour to relax, swim, and soak up the sun on deserted beaches (weather permitting, of course).
  • You have the option to go kayaking and explore a fishing village.
  • Lunch and dinner are served on board and consist of freshly caught seafood (fish, shrimp, squid, shellfish) purchased from local fishermen on the same day. You will spend the night on board in a cove in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha bay (B, L, D)
The second day is dedicated to a cruise in both bays (Halong and Lan Ha). You can swim and discover increasingly fantastic landscapes. Meals are enjoyed on the boat. You will spend the night on board, in a cove in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha bay - Cat Ba island - Hanoi (B, L)
Breakfast on board the junk boat before starting the morning program: a 2-hour bicycle ride to reach the village of Viet Hai. After the ride, brunch will be served on the boat. You will return to Cat Ba Island around 12:30 PM to pick up your car. You will return to your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Hanoi - flight to Hue (B)
Transfer by car from your hotel to Hanoi Airport. Arrival at Hue Airport, where you will be greeted by the driver and your guide, and then transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a vegetarian lunch at Lien Hoa Pagoda. In the afternoon, take a sampan ride to Thien Mu Pagoda and visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc. Depending on the time available, you may also visit Dong Ba Market. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the hotel.

Hue - Tam Giang (B, L, D)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will set out to visit the Imperial City of Hue. Following the visit, you will embark on a 2-day off-the-beaten-path tour. Your first stop will be at Phuoc Tich, located 40km north of Hue. This ancient village is surrounded by the beautiful O Lau River. Explore the typical old houses and pottery workshop. Lunch will be with a local host. Then, you will head to the Tam Giang Lagoon, situated 25km from Phuoc Tich. Take a walking tour to visit the fishing village, discover the fishing activities of the villagers, their daily life, rice and vegetable cultivation. Dinner and overnight stay in a homestay at Tam Giang.

Tam Giang - An Bang - Lang Co - Danang - Hoi An (B, L)
From one lagoon to another: early in the morning, visit Tam Giang Lagoon and its local floating market (around 4-5 AM, optional). Then, depart for Hoi An via the scenic coastal road Thuan An to avoid National Highway No. 1. Visit An Bang, the unique "City of the Dead," which consists of ancestral tombs of the Vietkieu families. Enjoy lunch with a local host. Continue the journey towards Lang Co Lagoon and the Hai Van Pass before reaching Danang. Depending on the available time and your preference, you can visit the Cham Museum or Linh Ung Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Danang with panoramic views of the city. Arrival in Hoi An in the late afternoon. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night in Hoi An.

Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B, L)
After breakfast, depart for My Son, nicknamed the "Valley of the Kings," which was the site of the flourishing Champa Kingdom capital until the 10th century. Explore the archaeological site. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you have two options: Free time to relax at the beach. Bicycle ride to visit Cam Thanh village, interact with the locals, and experience daily life. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the hotel.

Hoi An - Danang - flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, you have free time to enjoy the beaches in Hoi An. In the early afternoon, you will be transferred to Danang Airport. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the hotel.

Visit of Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the Traditional Medicine Museum, the Municipal Theatre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, Thien Hau Pagoda, and Ngoc Hoang Pagoda. Discover the art of lacquerware making. Take a stroll in the Chinatown district of Cho Lon. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre - Mo Cay (B, L, D)
Depart for Ben Tre at around 8:00 AM. Sail up the Ben Tre River to observe the daily life of people living along the river, such as fishing. Stop at Mr. Tu Lo's to see the manual brick-making process. Continue the tour on the river's branches, arriving at Nhon Thanh village. Explore the village on foot, visit weaving houses, taste Vietnamese tea and seasonal fruits. Take a bike or tuk-tuk ride to explore the village among coconut palms, rice fields, and gardens. Visit Mr. Sau Khanh's house, an antique collector, admire his collection, and learn the technique of climbing coconut trees. Have lunch at Hai Ho. Take a boat ride in the shade of water coconut trees and follow the Cai Coi River branch, returning to Hung Vuong Port. Transfer via Ham Luong Bridge and arrive at Mrs. Mai's. Check-in at the homestay, take some rest, and then enjoy activities such as biking, kayaking, or fishing. Participate in cooking dinner with the family and have dinner with them. Spend the night enjoying the tranquility of the Southern village. Overnight stay with a local host or at a hotel.

Mo Cay - Can Tho (B, L)
After breakfast, ride a bike to the local market. Continue to the Cai Cam River pier to board a boat on the Ham Luong River. The boat will follow the beautiful Mo Cay River to the Hoa Loc port. Enjoy a bike ride under the coconut trees. Take a boat to the Mo Cay market. Visit the coconut candy-making workshop (the most famous coconut candy workshop in Ben Tre). Continue by boat on the Mo Cay River to the Thom market. You will see hundreds of workshops producing coconut-based products and the coconut traders' boats. At the Thom market, your vehicle will pick you up to travel along National Route 57, where you will see well-known bonsai gardens and fruit gardens in Cai Mon. Have lunch at Mr. Khanh's, take a bike ride in the village, and observe the daily life of the villagers. Depart for Can Tho, arriving in Can Tho in the late afternoon. Night with a local host (dinner included) or at a hotel (dinner not included).

Can Tho - Cai Rang floating market - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After an early breakfast (around 6:30 AM), you will visit Cai Rang Market, one of the liveliest markets in the Delta. Then, you will pass by Binh Thuy House, which served as a backdrop in the film "The Lover" by Jean-Jacques Annaud. Lunch will be at Mr. Muoi Cuong's. Then, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the early evening. Dinner is at your leisure, and you will spend the night at the hotel.
