The complete itinerary to discover Halong Bay aboard a traditional junk! Over three days, you will explore Cat Ba Island, the typical scenery of the Bay, and fishing villages. You will do this in various ways: by motorbike, on our junk, as well as by kayak and bicycle! And of course, you will taste the fish and other seafood of the Bay.
These are three diversified days full of surprises awaiting you.
The Four Seasons junk has four cabins and can be booked privately or collectively (booking one cabin). This itinerary is suitable for large groups (up to 10 people, privately) as well as individuals (solo travelers, couples, or groups of friends) looking for an authentic experience in Lan Ha Bay.

What you will see during your trip

Hanoi – Cat Ba island – Lan Ha bay – Viet Hai village (L, D)
The driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 AM, heading to Cat Ba Island. Alternatively, you can take the morning bus (departing between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM) to Cat Ba Island.
First, you will take a ferry to reach the island. After the ferry, to get to the town of Cat Ba (located about 30 km away), we offer a one-hour motorcycle ride with a driver, off the beaten path. You can also choose to take the bus if you prefer not to experience the motorcycle ride.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant along the way. You will arrive at the pier around 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. From there, you will board a small fishing boat to reach Viet Hai Island. Once there, you will explore the surroundings by bicycle, have dinner, and spend the night in a bungalow in the village of Viet Hai.

Viet Hai village – Lan Ha bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you'll have free time in the village, then return to the pier by bicycle and board the Majonq boat around 1:00 PM. Your first stop will be at Hang Ca Cave, where you'll also have the opportunity to explore by kayak. You'll then cross the bay towards the remote islands. Lunch and dinner, featuring seafood (fish, shrimp, squid, shellfish, meat, vegetables, rice, well-cooked noodles), will be served on board. You'll spend the night on the boat in a cove in the middle of the bay.

Lan Ha bay – Cat Ba island – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, the boat will continue to explore Lan Ha Bay. Free time on the boat. Lunch will be served on board or at a local restaurant, depending on availability.
Disembarkation on Cat Ba Island is around noon.
Return to Hanoi by bus or car (depending on the chosen option).

- Here are the prices for the 3-days private cruise on the Four Seasons. The price will depend on the number of people booking the cruise and the chosen mode of transportation. These prices do not include a guide. You will need to add 50 dollars per day (regardless of the number of people) to benefit from the services of an English-speaking tour guide. Prices are per person and in dollars.
