Hanoi - Cat Ba island - Lan Ha bay (L, D)
Departure from Hanoi by car at 8:00 in the morning. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel to reach the Dinh Vu pier (110km - 2 hours of driving).
At Dinh Vu, you will take a local ferry (20 minutes) to the Phu Long pier. After the ferry, you will reach the town of Cat Ba (located about 30 km), where our junk is located. We offer you a one-hour motorcycle ride with a driver, off the beaten track, or by bus if you do not want to experience the motorcycle and depending on your budget choice. The organization is flexible and will be explained to you the day before departure.
Around 12:30, you will board one of vintage junk (private or shared according to your departure choice: maximum 4 rooms). Our junk first crosses the fishing village of Hang Vem in Lan Ha Bay. Take this trip to relax, swim, and enjoy the beaches. You will also have the opportunity to take a kayak ride and explore a fishing village. Lunch and dinner are served on board and include fresh seafood (fish, shrimp, squid, shellfish) purchased from local fishermen on the same day, as well as sautéed meats and vegetables. You will spend the night on board in a cove in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha bay - Cat Ba island - Ninh Binh (B, L)
Your disembarkation is scheduled for 11:30. In the morning program, you can choose between the following options, to be arranged the day before with the guide or crew: a 2-hour round-trip bike ride in Viet Hai village or a leisurely stroll in the bay or on a beach. Depending on the availability of the junk, we can have lunch on board, but we will confirm this at the time of boarding (otherwise, lunch will be on Cat Ba Island). Then, you will be transferred from Cat Ba Island to Phu Long, where the local ferry will take you back to Dinh Vu (20 minutes on the local ferry). You will continue by car to Ninh Binh, arriving around 5:30 PM.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Tam Coc.

Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, you'll go on a bike ride to visit the Jade Pagoda, Thai Vi Temple, and the Tam Coc rice fields. You'll climb to the top of Mua Mountain to enjoy a splendid view of the entire Tam Coc region (450 steps to climb). Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll explore the Trang An site and its 10 caves by bamboo boat.
You'll return to Hanoi by bus, arriving around 7:00 PM.
