Vietnam Mekong delta – 2 days tour

per person

Explore in two days what the Mekong River brings to the people of the Delta.

Centuries ago, these lands in the Mekong Delta were inhabited by the Khmers. Today, it is the Vietnamese government that administers the 12 provinces that make up the Mekong Delta. In addition to these twelve provinces, there is a municipality, Can Tho, the main urban area in the region.

Visiting the Mekong Delta means discovering a local life closely intertwined with that of the river. In the Mekong Delta, one navigates more than walks! Since navigation is the primary means of transportation, markets are also held on the water.

Our private two-day, one-night tour will take you to explore life along the river and its markets, especially the vibrant Cai Be market. With us, you will have the opportunity to discover the typical villages along the river and even spend the night there, as this tour offers a homestay on the beautiful Thoi Son Island.

In the early afternoon, you'll continue on sampans for a 20-minute journey to the neighboring village. Taste local fruits and honey tea. Later, hop on a bicycle for a 2-hour ride along picturesque trails through rice fields, orchards, and coconut forests. At the end of the ride, take a rowing boat trip through the canals.
