We will welcome you in Hanoi and gradually guide you through the country, ending your trip in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Hanoi (L, D)
Hanoi is a true museum of colonial architecture along the banks of the Red River. As the capital of unified Vietnam, Hanoi has managed to preserve the nostalgic charm of the French colonial era. The city's modernization, initiated by the French in 1882 and extended until 1955, has left a lasting impact, and Hanoi's appearance today remains largely unchanged.
Visit the exterior of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his former residence, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.
Dinner featuring a tasting of Cha Ca, a typical Hanoi fish dish.

Hanoi - Ninh Binh (B, L)
The guide and your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi around 7:30 AM. You will then depart for the Ninh Binh province. The itinerary for this first day includes exploring the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and taking a boat ride at the eco-tourism site of Trang An. Afterward, you will relax at your accommodation in Tam Coc.

Ninh Binh (B, L)
You will wake up early the next morning to climb the 450 steps to reach the summit of Hang Mua Mountain. By arriving early, you will avoid the crowds. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for breakfast. Then, you'll head to the Bich Dong Pagoda and Thung Nham Park by bicycle. Lunch will be served in Tam Coc.
In the afternoon, you will visit Phat Diem Cathedral, the largest and most majestic cathedral in Vietnam. You will learn more about the history of Christianity in Vietnam.
Return to your accommodation in Tam Coc in the late afternoon.

Ninh Binh - Cat Ba island - Lan Ha bay (B, L, D)
You will depart by car with your guide at 7:00 in the morning, heading towards Cat Ba Island. It takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach the ferry terminal. The ferry will take you to the island. You will then traverse the island on a motorbike (our colleagues on-site will drive you) to reach the Ben Beo pier at the southern end of the island. Lunch will be provided, followed by a cruise on our traditional junk boat (Four Seasons or Majonq). You'll have the opportunity to kayak and swim in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Lan Ha bay - Cat Ba island - Hanoi - Night Train to Lao Cai (B, L)
We recommend waking up early to enjoy the sunrise from the upper deck of the boat! After breakfast, you will have a choice: a bike ride to the village of Viet Hai or cruising and swimming in a sheltered cove in Lan Ha Bay. You will return to Cat Ba Island around 12:00 PM, where the car will be waiting for you. The return to Hanoi is planned for around 4:30 PM.
Late afternoon and dinner are free before being taken to the Hanoi train station.
You will spend the night on the train.

Hue (B, L)
Your guide will welcome you at the train station early in the morning. The day is dedicated to exploring Hue. You will start by visiting the Imperial Citadel, followed by a cyclo-pousse ride through the city, and then a visit to the "garden houses." These houses are built following the principles of feng shui and provide a connection between nature and urban life. Enjoy a typical lunch of "bun bo Hué."
In the afternoon, you will visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, which represents a masterpiece of traditional Vietnamese art. This visit will also provide insight into the history of the Nguyen Dynasty (16th–20th centuries) and the French colonial invasion.
Later, take a leisurely 2-hour walk along the Perfume River to discover the different architectural periods and historical buildings of Hue. You will also visit the Lê Ba Dang Gallery, dedicated to the renowned Vietnamese painter who lived and created in Paris.
Dinner is at your leisure, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Hue.

Hue – "ocean cloud pass" - Hoi An (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Hoi An. Your first stop will be at a village specialized in the production of incense sticks, a traditional craft of the region. Enjoy lunch in the village before continuing the journey to Danang, a mountainous region known for marble extraction. You will pass through the famous Hai Van Pass, also known as the "Ocean clouds Pass," which offers a stunning view of the Lang Co peninsula. Visit a stone sculptor village to admire the skill of the artisans.
Continue on to Hoi An.
For dinner, you will have a tasting of Banh Vac, known as "white rose," which is a dish made of white rice dough stuffed with shrimp. This dish is unique to Hoi An. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Hoi An (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided walking tour of the ancient town of Hoi An, a charming UNESCO World Heritage-listed town. Explore the old quarters of the town: Fujian Sanctuary, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient House, and the Japanese Covered Bridge.
Lunch in the Old Town.
In the early afternoon, you will cycle to the Tra Que agricultural village, which supplies vegetables to the city and its surroundings. Participate in a cooking class where you will learn to make Banh Xeo, a crispy pancake filled with soybean sprouts, pork slices, and shrimp.
Return to the Old Town in the late afternoon, where you will enjoy a relaxing foot massage.

Hoi An - Danang - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
You will depart by car to Danang Airport after your breakfast. Flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam.
Arrival in the early afternoon. You will be welcomed by our guide and driver. After a stop at your hotel, you will visit the old colonial quarters, the Central Post Office, the exterior of the Reunification Palace, and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong delta exploration (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for My Tho, a vast network of thousands of canals characterizes life in the Mekong Delta, which extends over 40,000 square kilometers. Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda and a Cao Dai temple.
Then embark on a cruise in the Mekong Delta. Arrive on an island and enjoy tasting seasonal fruits harvested from orchards. Visit a coconut candy factory. Horse-drawn carriage ride in the village. Take a ride in small boats through a palm tree forest for a guaranteed change of scenery.
Lunch with a specialty of the region: Elephant Ear Fish.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai - Phnom Penh (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, then road trip to Moc Bai, crossing into Cambodia through the Bavet border.
Welcoming by the Cambodian guide and continue on to Phnom Penh, passing over the Neak Loeun suspension bridge that spans the Mekong River.
Lunch along the way.
Arrival in the capital in the early evening.

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace, the main residence of the King and Queen. Within the palace grounds, explore the Silver Pagoda, which houses frescoes inspired by the Ramayana and treasures of the crown.
Next, visit the National Museum, built by the French starting in 1917, which occupies a vast building with a beautiful collection of Khmer art.
Lunch.
Transfer by road to Siem Reap via Kompong Thom. Journey through magnificent landscapes of rice paddies dotted with traditional houses.
Arrival in Siem Reap in the early evening.

Siem Reap - Angkor temples (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor.
The morning is dedicated to exploring the Angkor Wat temple, which is a symbol of Cambodia and is featured on its national flag. After lunch, visit the Bayon temple with its enigmatic smiling faces.
In the late afternoon, visit the Baphuon, a royal temple and one of the largest religious structures in Cambodia. Its restoration has been entrusted to the French School of Asian Studies.

Siem Reap - end of the tour (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the old market and a meeting with the artisans of Angkor. Lunch. Free time for final shopping in the shops of the Psar Chas district. Depending on flight schedules, transfer to Siem Reap airport.
