Ho Chi Minh City
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, located on the Saigon River. Welcome by the driver and French-speaking guide at the airport. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Start of the sightseeing: the grand central post office, with its metal framework designed by Gustave Eiffel; the red brick Notre-Dame Cathedral, resembling Notre-Dame de Paris, and Dong Khoi street. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)
Departure after your breakfast for the Mekong Delta, heading to Ben Tre, a true "green Venice" of Vietnam, located at the mouth of the Mekong River. Stop at a brick factory in Phong Nam, where bricks are still handmade. You will then take a small boat for a ride along the Chet Say River (one of the branches of the Mekong). Several stops will be made to discover various local workshops, providing insight into different aspects of the local economy. Visit a coconut processing workshop and a carpet weaving workshop. Then, take a stroll through the village on a Xe Loi (motorized rickshaw). Lunch will be enjoyed in the village. In the afternoon, take a sampan ride (traditional flat-bottomed boat) for a relaxing time along the narrow canals. Later, you will drive to Can Tho. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel.

Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After your breakfast, you will depart to visit the Cai Rang floating market by boat, the largest fruit and vegetable market in the Mekong Delta. Then, you will head back to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will pass through the Chinatown district of Cholon and visit the Thien Hau Temple, richly decorated with wooden sculptures dating back to the 16th century. It is dedicated to the Chinese goddess Thien Hau, protector of fishermen and sailors. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City – Danang – Hoi An (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport and flight to Danang (1 hour 20 minutes flight). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the driver and your guide and transferred to Hoi An. Along the way, you will visit the Cham Sculpture Museum. Then, explore the ancient town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The uniqueness of the place lies in its blending of Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, and French architectural elements. Discover centuries-old Chinese houses, the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese temple, and the Tan Ky House. Enjoy a tea tasting at the "House of Tea," an association that promotes employment and integration for people with disabilities. You'll have some free time, followed by a dinner of Vietnamese specialties, the "Banh Vac."

Hoi An – My Son – Danang - Hue (B, L)
Visit to the archaeological site of My Son, known as the "Valley of the Kings," revealing remnants of the Champa Kingdom founded in the 4th century. Departure then to Danang, the former French city of Tourane, and currently one of the most important ports in Vietnam. Lunch in Danang, followed by a continuation to Hue via the Hai Van Pass. Hue, the former imperial and intellectual city of Vietnam under the 13 Nguyen dynasties, is renowned for being the first cultural world heritage recognized by UNESCO in Vietnam. Its magnificent architecture includes the citadel, palaces, imperial mausoleums, pagodas, and temples built along the Perfume River. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at the hotel.

Hue (B, L)
A day dedicated to exploring Hue. Begin with a visit to the Imperial City, followed by a cyclo-pousse ride through the city. Afterward, depart for the "garden houses." Constructed according to the principles of geomancy, these houses provide a seamless connection between nature and urban living. Enjoy a typical "bun bo Hue" lunch. In the afternoon, visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, a masterpiece of traditional Vietnamese art. This visit also offers insight into the history of the Nguyen Dynasty (16th – 20th centuries) and the French colonial invasion. Conclude the day with a 2-hour walk along the Perfume River to discover various architectural periods and historical buildings in Hue. Visit the Lê Ba Dang Gallery, dedicated to the renowned Vietnamese painter who lived and created in Paris. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at the hotel in Hue.

Hue – DMZ – Dong Hoi (B, L)
Travel to Dong Hoi, passing through the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The road is dominated by low mountains and karst peaks, lined with small huts and rice fields. Explore the Hiên Luong Bridge and the Vinh Moc Tunnel, a strategic location that was targeted during the Vietnam War. Visit the underground village that the population lived in for 2 years. You will then continue to arrive in Dong Hoi by late afternoon. Free time to enjoy the beach. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in Dong Hoi.

Phong Nha - Dong Hoi - night train to Ninh Binh (B, L)
You will take a boat ride in the morning to cruise along the Son River and admire the surrounding landscapes. Visit the Phong Nha Cave, the longest cave in Southeast Asia. In the afternoon, depart for Dong Hoi. You will take the train in the evening to Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh - Tam Coc (B, L)

Arrival in Ninh Binh. Welcome by your tour guide. Transfer to your hotel in Tam Coc.

Visit of the temples of Kings Dinh and Le at the Hoa Lu site, the ancient capital. Then, proceed to Thung Nham, known for its rich and preserved ecosystem, especially its bird sanctuary. Take a boat ride to the Buddha Cave, passing through rice paddies and the aquatic landscapes of reeds surrounded by gigantic limestone peaks. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in Tam Coc.

Tam Coc – Cat Ba island – Lan Ha bay (B, L)
The driver and your guide will pick you up from your hotel around 7:30 AM. You will first take a ferry to reach the Island. After the ferry, to reach the town of Cat Ba (located about 30 km away), where our junk is located, we offer you a one-hour motorcycle ride with a driver, off the beaten path. Around 12:30 PM, you board one of our two traditional junks (1 cabin or 4 cabins). Our junk first crosses the fishing village of Hang Vem in Lan Ha Bay. Sailing is possible depending on the wind. Take this opportunity to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun on deserted beaches (weather permitting, of course). You have the option to take a kayak ride and explore lovely coves in the afternoon. Lunch and dinner are served on board and will be tailored to your dietary requirements (including vegetarian options). You will spend the night on board in a cove in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha bay – Cat Ba island - Hanoi (B, L)
Breakfast on board the junk before starting the morning program that you will have chosen with your guide the day before: a 2-hour bicycle ride to the village of Viet Hai or a boat excursion in the Bay with a swim at a beach. Lunch will be served on the junk before returning to land. Return to Cat Ba Island around 12:00 PM. You will then take the car back to Hanoi.

Hanoi (B, L, D)
The day is dedicated to exploring the Vietnamese capital. Panoramic tour: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, whose architecture recalls Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow; the Stilt House, as well as the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong. Lunch of fish specialties. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam. Stroll in the old quarter of Hoan Kiem by the lake, a place for walks and encounters with the local population. Enjoy an evening of street food to experience Hanoi's nightlife.

Hanoi – Ba Vi – Duong Lam (B, L)
Departure for Ba Vi, a magnificent national park, and guided tour of the tea plantation. Tasting in the gardens of the estate. Journey to Duong Lam. Lunch with a local family. Walk or bike ride through the village and visit the Mia Pagoda. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel.
