The Best Value in Lan Ha Bay
The Parfum d’Automne junk is a 7-cabin boat offering the best value for money in Lan Ha Bay.
Each cabin features a private bathroom and magnificent open views of the bay.
Spacious and comfortable, they are ideal for couples or small families (for example, two adults and one child).
Three of the cabins, located on the upper deck, come with private balconies.
An English-speaking guide will be on board to share insights into local life and lead the activities such as kayaking, cycling, and cooking classes.
Our kitchen team has been trained to prepare fresh Vietnamese dishes, making the most of locally sourced ingredients from the bay.
You may book an individual cabin, or privatize the entire junk if you are a larger group (for example, 10 people).
The driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 AM for the transfer to Cat Ba Island.
Alternatively, you can take the bus from Hanoi (departing between 7:30 and 8:00 AM) to Cat Ba.
First, you will take a ferry to reach the island.
After the ferry, to get to Cat Ba town (about 30 km away), where our junk is moored, we offer a one-hour motorbike ride with driver, off the beaten path through beautiful scenery.
If you prefer not to experience the motorbike ride, you can continue the journey by bus.
Around 12:30 PM, you will board our traditional boat, the Romance.
The junk will first pass through Hang Vem fishing village in Lan Ha Bay. Sailing under wind power is possible depending on the weather.
This cruise is designed for relaxation, swimming, and enjoying the sun on deserted beaches (weather permitting).
You will also have the chance to go kayaking and visit a fishing village.
Lunch and dinner are served on board, featuring fresh seafood — fish, shrimp, squid, and shellfish — purchased the same day from local fishermen.
Overnight stay in a cabin on board.

Breakfast on board, then enjoy a bike ride to Viet Hai village on Cat Ba Island.
At 10:00 AM, check out of your cabin.
A brunch will be served around 11:00 AM.
Return to Cat Ba Island around 12:00 PM to take the bus or private car back to Hanoi (depending on your choice).

The Moonlight, Romance, and Quatre Saisons junks are small boats and do not have a full-time guide on board.
You can hire a English-speaking guide to accompany you on the boat. The guide will travel with you from Hanoi.
For all other junks, there is an English-speaking guide on board who will facilitate all activities during the cruise.

If you choose a cruise in Lan Ha Bay, you will take a Daiichi bus to Beo Pier, then a ferry or speedboat to Cat Ba Island.
For Halong Bay or Bai Tu Long Bay cruises, transportation is provided by the cruise company’s bus.
If you prefer, you can book a private car (7 or 16 seats).
Yes, it’s possible to go to Tam Coc (Ninh Binh) after a cruise in Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay, or Bai Tu Long Bay.
This is usually arranged with Daiichi transport.
Note: from Cat Ba Island, the journey is quite long – allow more than 5 hours by road.
