Begin your visits with the Central Post Office, whose metal frame was designed by Gustave Eiffel; the Notre-Dame Cathedral, built with red bricks and resembling the one in Paris; and Dong Khoi Street.

After breakfast, departure for the Mekong Delta, heading towards Ben Tre, the true “Green Venice” of Vietnam, located at the mouth of the Mekong River. Stop at a brick factory in Phong Nam, where bricks are still handmade. Then, board a small boat for a cruise along the Chet Say River (one of the branches of the Mekong). Several stops are planned to visit local workshops, providing a better understanding of the various aspects of the local economy. Discover a coconut processing workshop and a mat-weaving workshop. Then, enjoy a ride through the village on a Xe Loi (a motorized rickshaw). Lunch will be served in the village.
In the afternoon, take a relaxing sampan ride (traditional flat-bottomed boat) along the narrow canals. Afterward, drive to Can Tho. Dinner at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will take a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market, the largest fruit and vegetable market in the Mekong Delta.
Then, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, explore Cholon, the city’s Chinatown, and visit Thien Hau Temple, richly decorated with wooden carvings dating back to the 16th century. The temple is dedicated to the Chinese goddess Thien Hau, protector of fishermen and sailors.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang (1h20). Upon arrival, meet your driver and guide, then transfer to Hoi An. On the way, visit the Cham Sculpture Museum.

Enjoy lunch in Danang, then continue to Hue via the scenic Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Clouds).
Hue, the former imperial and intellectual capital of Vietnam under the 13 Nguyen dynasties, is renowned as the first cultural World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in Vietnam. It is famous for the magnificent architecture of its citadel, palaces, imperial mausoleums, pagodas, and temples built along the Perfume River.

Day dedicated to exploring Hue. Start with a visit to the Imperial City, then enjoy a cyclo ride through the town before heading to the garden houses. In the afternoon, visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, a masterpiece of traditional Vietnamese art and architecture. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the history of the Nguyen dynasty (16th–20th centuries) and the French colonial invasion.
Finally, take a 2-hour walk along the Perfume River, discovering Hue’s diverse architectural styles and historical landmarks. Visit the Lê Ba Dang Gallery, dedicated to the renowned Vietnamese painter who lived and created in Paris.

Drive to Dong Hoi via the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The route offers scenic views of low mountains and karst peaks, bordered by small huts and rice fields. Departure for Ninh Binh, a region renowned for its beauty and nicknamed the “terrestrial Halong Bay.” Visit the temples of Kings Dinh and Le on the Hoa Lu site, the former capital of Vietnam. Continue on to Thung Nham, known for its rich and preserved ecosystem, particularly its bird sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride to Buddha Cave, passing through rice fields and aquatic landscapes of reeds crowned by towering limestone karsts.

Your driver and guide will pick you up around 7:30 AM at your hotel.
You will first take a ferry to reach the island. After the ferry ride, to get to Cat Ba town (about 30 km away), where our junk is located, we offer a one-hour motorbike ride with a driver, taking you off the beaten path.
Around 12:30 PM, you will board one of our two traditional junks (either with 1 cabin or 4 cabins). Our junk will first pass through Hang Vem fishing village in Lan Ha Bay. Sailing under wind power is possible depending on the weather conditions. Take advantage of this cruise to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun on deserted beaches (weather permitting). You will also have the opportunity to go kayaking and discover charming little coves in the afternoon.
Lunch and dinner will be served on board and adapted to your dietary preferences (vegetarian available).
You will spend the night on board, anchored in a cove in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.

Breakfast will be served on board the junk before starting the morning program that you will have chosen with your guide the day before: either a 2-hour bike ride to reach Viet Hai village or a cruise through the Bay with a swim on a secluded beach.
