Parfum d’Automne invites you on a journey to explore Vietnam in depth, from North to South.
This tour is designed for travelers who want to take their time and gain a complete panorama of the landscapes and people of Vietnam.
In the North, you will cruise through Lan Ha Bay on one of our traditional junks before exploring the “Halong Bay on land” (Ninh Binh) and the majestic northern mountains. With our guide, you will discover Mu Cang Chai, a little-visited area that offers some of the most stunning landscapes in Northern Vietnam. You will then continue on to Sapa and Bac Ha, home to the largest ethnic minority market in the North.
Your journey will then lead you to Central Vietnam, where you will visit the cities of Hue and Hoi An. Our guides will introduce you to the rich heritage of the Champa civilization in the surroundings of Hoi An.
Finally, the Mekong Delta will unfold before you, charming you with its local life paced by the longest river in Southeast Asia.
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi. Welcome by our driver and guide, then transfer to your hotel. You will leave your luggage at the hotel (rooms available from 1:00 PM). Lunch in a local restaurant.

Among other visits, you will discover the surroundings of Hoan Kiem Lake, the Ngoc Son Temple located on a small island in the lake, and the lively Dong Xuan Market.
The afternoon ends with a performance of the traditional water puppet show, where you will learn Vietnamese legends while enjoying this unique art form.

You will have breakfast at your hotel. Our guide and driver will pick you up to continue discovering the city of Hanoi.
In the morning, you will explore Vietnam’s history with visits to the Temple of Literature (a symbol of Confucianism) and Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist pagoda in Hanoi.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology, which gathers a vast collection of information and artifacts about the 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
Overnight at the hotel.
It’s the day of your departure to Northern Vietnam! After breakfast, your driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel.

The village is famous for its ancient houses, with some belonging to the same families for over 300 years. You will visit a few of these traditional homes and enjoy lunch in one of them. You will also discover the communal house and Mia Pagoda.
In the afternoon, the journey continues northward into a landscape of increasingly higher hills covered with tea plantations.
