FAQ
Our answers to your questions

Is 21 days enough to visit Vietnam?

Yes, 21 days is an excellent amount of time to explore Vietnam in a well-balanced way. This timeframe allows you to visit the country’s three main regions: the North, with its mountains, terraced rice fields, and ethnic minorities; the Center, rich in historical heritage (Hue, Hoi An) and beaches; and the more tropical South, with the Mekong Delta and sometimes a beach extension in Phu Quoc. It is the ideal duration to combine culture, nature, local encounters, and relaxation without rushing.

Do I need a visa for 21 days in Vietnam?

It all depends on your nationality. For example, citizens of the United Kingdom and Ireland benefit from a visa exemption of up to 45 days.

Other English-speaking countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are not part of this exemption scheme. Travelers from these countries must apply for an e-visa through the official Vietnamese government portal. The e-visa is valid for 90 days without the need to leave the country, and there is also a multiple-entry option for the same duration.

What is the best time for a 3-week trip to Vietnam?

Vietnam stretches over 1,600 km from north to south, so the weather varies by region. That said, the best months for a 3-week tour are:

  • March to May: generally dry and sunny across the country

  • October to mid-December: mild temperatures in the north, limited rainfall in the south

Note that summer (June to August) is hot and sometimes humid, but still a possible travel period, especially if you adapt to the microclimates. We design our itineraries to make the most of each region according to the season.
