After breakfast at your hotel, you will set out to explore the Imperial City of Hue (the Noon Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Royal Reading Pavilion, the temples of the Nguyen dynasty, etc.). You will then embark on a 2-day off-the-beaten-path journey to Phuoc Tich, located 40 km north of Hue, an ancient village surrounded by the beautiful O Lau River. On the program: a visit to traditional houses and a pottery workshop, followed by lunch with a local family.

In the afternoon, continue on to Tam Giang Lagoon, 25 km from Phuoc Tich village (the largest lagoon in Indochina). Here, you will enjoy a walk through a fishing village, discover the villagers’ fishing activities, daily life, and rice and vegetable cultivation. Dinner and overnight stay in a countryside homestay in Tam Giang.

Day 3
Tam Giang – Thuan An – An Bang – Lang Co – Hoi An (B, L)

Early in the morning, you will visit Tam Giang Lagoon and its authentic floating market (around 4–5 a.m., optional). After breakfast, depart for Hoi An via the scenic coastal road. On the way, stop at An Bang village, known as the “City of the Dead,” where you can admire its gigantic ancestral tombs (financed by Vietnamese living abroad). Enjoy lunch with a local family.

Continue your journey over the Hai Van Pass (the “Pass of the Clouds”), offering breathtaking panoramic views. Stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum and the Linh Ung Pagoda, the largest in Danang, with sweeping views over the bay. Arrival in Hoi An by late afternoon. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 4
Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An – Da Nang airport (B, L)

After breakfast, you will have three options to choose from:

  • Free time at the beach (no services included except breakfast and transfer to the airport).

  • Cycling tour to Cam Thanh village, where you will meet local residents and explore the surrounding countryside.

Return to Hoi An around noon for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the ancient town of Hoi An: the former fishing port of Faifo, the traditional market, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chinese temple, and the old Tan Ky house.

Transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi or Saigon.
