Vous souhaitez organiser un voyage privatif et sur mesure ?
This tour in Laos focuses on the essentials, taking you to two of the country’s unmissable destinations: the enchanting town of Luang Prabang and the capital city, Vientiane.
On the program: explore Luang Prabang and its surroundings, with visits to the mystical Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues, and the stunning Kouang Si Waterfalls, a natural wonder where turquoise pools invite you to relax. In Vientiane, wander through colorful markets and discover the city’s most beautiful temples, blending serenity, tradition, and a touch of French colonial charm.
This itinerary is perfect for travelers who are primarily visiting Vietnam and wish to complement their journey with a short yet rich discovery of Laos… very likely leaving them eager to return one day and spend more time exploring this fascinating country.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Lunch will then be served.
In the afternoon, you will visit Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple in the city, built in the 16th century, followed by Vat Visoun and the “Melon Stupa,” as well as nearby Vat Aham. Later, you will climb Mount Phou Si to admire the sunset over the city.
On your way back to the hotel, you will stop at the night market, a lively place perfect for strolling and discovering local crafts.
After breakfast, embark on a boat cruise to visit the Pak Ou Caves, located 32 km upstream. On the way, stop at the “Whiskey Village” to see the production of Lau Lao, the traditional rice whisky. Continue to the caves for about one hour, where thousands of Buddha images are stored.
Afterwards, you will travel by car to the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong, also known for its handmade silk paper, located 12 km from Luang Prabang. Return to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to the Kuang Si Waterfalls, located 29 km from Luang Prabang. On the way, enjoy the scenic countryside and stop at a Hmong village. At Kuang Si, you may swim in the refreshing turquoise pools. A picnic lunch will be served on site.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, visit some of the most important temples such as Vat Si Saket, Haw Pha Kaew, Pha That Luang, and Patuxai (a triumphal arch also known as the Victory Monument), as well as the morning market. In the late afternoon, transfer to the airport for your departure.
