Overview

Ha Giang is the name of the province located at the very northern tip of Vietnam. Long overlooked, this region is gradually opening up to tourism, revealing its breathtaking landscapes!

You will not be disappointed as you explore this mountainous land, where rugged peaks, valleys, and rivers intertwine. One of the highlights is watching how the winding roads snake dramatically along the mountainsides.

During your journey through this region—home primarily to the Hmong people—you’ll take the time to admire the Dong Van Karst Plateau, Vietnam’s first geological park, as well as the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the highest in the country, rising nearly 2,000 meters above sea level.

After Ha Giang, your trip continues to Bac Ha, famous for its vibrant Sunday market where ethnic minorities from across Lao Cai province gather in a colorful and lively atmosphere.
