Day 1
Explore Hanoi's Old Quarter (L)

Welcome at the airport by our guide and driver. You will be transferred to your hotel, where your room will be available in the morning. Afterwards, enjoy lunch with your guide. In the afternoon, discover the famous 36 Streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Take a cyclo ride through the bustling alleys and end the day with a traditional water puppet show.

Day 2
Hanoi and its surroundings (B, L)

After breakfast, you will head out to explore the Museum of Ethnology, which will introduce you to the traditions and customs of Vietnam’s main ethnic groups. Outside the museum, you will find reconstructions of traditional houses from several ethnic minorities, making it an interactive and engaging visit.

Next, you will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi. Your children will have the opportunity to discover the making of traditional Vietnamese toys, Tò he, crafted from sticky rice, right outside the pagoda.

Enjoy a lunch of local specialties around Truc Bach Lake.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Long Bien Bridge, one of Hanoi’s iconic landmarks. Relax with a fruit juice on a rooftop offering a panoramic view of the entire bridge.

Day 3
Hanoi - Hua Tat (B, L, D)

After your breakfast, you will head to Hoa Binh province, home of the Muong ethnic group, located on a mountain range separating the Red River Delta from the Ma River basin. From Hoa Binh city, the road climbs in altitude, crossing the Muong Khen Pass and winding along a mountainous slope toward the Thung Nhuôi Pass. Stop for a stunning panoramic view of Mai Chau Valley from the pass.

You will then continue through high mountain landscapes toward Moc Chau district. Arrive late in the morning at the village of Hua Tat, mainly inhabited by the so-called “Flower Hmong,” who live on the mountain slopes. Settle into a rural homestay run by a lovely Hmong couple as part of a community-based tourism development project. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely hike through the valley, passing through various villages, cornfields, pine forests, and mountains. Return to A Chu homestay, help prepare dinner, and share the meal. After this visit and lunch, you will go on to discover Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist complex in Vietnam.

Tam Coc - Halong bay (B, L, D)

Your day to discover Halong Bay has arrived! We have selected the Dragon Legend Cruise for you, which offers family cabins. This is a high-standard boat that sails in the less touristy area of Halong Bay, called Bai Tu Long, where only a few boats are allowed to anchor.

Here is the schedule for the day:

08:20 – 08:45: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
11:30: Arrival at the office, short break in the waiting lounge before transferring to the cruise.
11:50 – 12:15: Transfer to the port by speedboat, where the crew will welcome you and assist with the boarding process.

Hoi An - Danang - flight to Ho Chi Minh city (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to Danang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the southern capital (formerly Saigon). Upon arrival, take a stroll through the “Colonial Saigon” city center:

  • Ben Thanh Market – the symbol of the city.
  • Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office (built based on Gustave Eiffel’s designs).
  • People’s Committee Hall of Ho Chi Minh City – the former City Hall, the most beautiful colonial building in the city.

Enjoy a specialty lunch, then return to your hotel for some rest.
