You will start in Hanoi, a vibrant capital where tradition meets modernity, before embarking on a cruise through Halong Bay, a natural wonder renowned for its spectacular karst formations. The adventure continues to Ninh Binh, often called the “terrestrial Halong Bay,” before heading to Phong Nha – Ke Bang, an exceptional national park home to some of the world’s most impressive caves.
The second part of the journey immerses you in imperial history with the city of Hue, followed by the charming town of Hoi An, famous for its colorful lanterns and multicultural influences.
A rich and varied itinerary, combining grand natural scenery and historical heritage, for a complete immersion into the jewels of Vietnam.
Arrival at Hanoi airport at 06:35. Meet your guide and driver, then transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat excursion along one of the world’s longest underground rivers to explore Phong Nha Cave, famed for its fascinating rock formations.
Later, ascend to Tien Son Dry Cave, renowned for its unique acoustics reminiscent of gongs and drums.

After breakfast, depart for Hué, the former imperial capital of central Vietnam, with an approximate 4-hour drive punctuated by several stops.
The first stop is Vinh Moc, a coastal village featuring an impressive network of underground tunnels manually dug by residents during the war to escape American bombings. Over 300 villagers lived here for six years, organizing their daily life underground with shelters serving as kitchens, infirmaries, and family quarters—a fascinating insight into resilience.
Continue to Cua Tung, a wild beach with orange sand, once nicknamed the “Queen of Beaches” by the French during the colonial era.
Arrive in Hué in the late afternoon, check in, and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel.
Begin with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, built between 1805 and 1832 by Emperor Gia Long.
Next, explore the “Nha Vuon” or “Garden House,” a distinctive Hué architectural style in which the residence is organically connected to the garden, surrounding plants, and landscape, creating a harmonious and spiritual environment.
Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, featuring traditional Hué cuisine, including the famous Bun Bo Hue—noodles with beef, originating from the ancient imperial city.
In the afternoon, visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, set amidst frangipani trees and pines according to the emperor’s own plans. This magnificent tomb is one of Hué’s most beautiful sites, exuding tranquility and exemplifying traditional Vietnamese artistry. It also offers insight into the history of the Nguyen dynasty.
Continue to Tu Hieu Pagoda, located near Tu Duc’s tomb. The serene pagoda is home to an active monastic community, and in its gardens, you can see the tombs of some royal mandarins.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner is at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart with your guide for Danang, driving via the Hai Van Pass (Cloud Pass), which offers stunning panoramic views of the central coastline at its summit.
In Danang, visit the Champa Archaeological Museum, home to an extensive collection of sculptures from the now-vanished Champa Kingdoms. Enjoy lunch in Danang before continuing to Hoi An. Check in at your hotel upon arrival.
Take a stroll through the narrow streets of Hoi An, discovering highlights such as the Japanese Covered Bridge built in 1593, the Folk Museum, Tan Ky House, the Tran Family Chapel, and charming merchant houses and mansions dating back two centuries. Visit the Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall, built in 1690, which houses a pagoda dedicated to Thien Hau Thanh Mau, the sea goddess and protector of sailors.
Dinner is at leisure and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a free day in Hoi An to relax on the beach.
